Psychological Distress of High School Graduates During Social Distancing in Croatia

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the whole world, thus also affecting high school graduates in Croatia. Aims: purpose of study was to examine psychological distress experienced during social distancing measures, more precisely investigate gender and type differences relationship between self-regulated learning. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, an online questionnaire administered 13,037 across Results: results show that girls exhibit higher levels compared boys, while art highest distress, followed by gymnasium (i.e., secondary grammar school, prep school) graduates, lastly vocational graduates. Furthermore, a moderate negative correlation found self-efficacy significant, but small correlations were regulation effort, management work, time environment, self-handicapping as well elaboration distress. These self-regulation are connected lower Conclusions: findings demonstrate need exists for greater accessibility mental health care adolescents.
